Global debts exceed $233 trillion which is over 3x global GDP, The 1% grabbed 82% of all wealth created in 2017.
During 6 years of Austerity 120,000 excess deaths were recorded, another report from an Oxford University study published in the Royal Society of Medicine suggests 30,000 excess deaths were recorded in 2015 alone.
During austerity the top 1000 wealthiest families in Britain doubled their assets.
We have 4.1 million children living in poverty two thirds of which are in working families. 19 million workers on the verge of poverty. 17 million with less than £100 in savings. 3.7 million adults using food banks to survive. 1.9 million pensioners living in poverty.
We had a tax gap of £120 billion in 2014 because corporations are not paying their legally required contribution to society. The tax gap is growing. While they are also taking £93 billion of public money in the form of corporate welfare and subsidies.
If you don't see a connection between poverty and corporate greed you lack critical thought, If you allow so many deaths to feed corporate greed you lack empathy.
It's so hard to be polite to people who profit from the deaths of your friends and loved ones.
